| Located
deep in the Tahoe National Forest rests the remains of the Munster Mill.
Dating back to the late 1800's the mill was originally a 10-Stamp steam
powered mill. The mill was expanded to 30-Stamps and utilized 2 steam
powered engines.
The mine is now flooded with a river of muddy water flowing out of it, at one time the tunnel was over 1300 ft. deep with over 1500 ft. of drifts. |
