The Munster Mill, California

Twenty of the 30-Stamps still stand.

Located deep in the Tahoe National Forest rests the remains of the Munster Mill. Dating back to the late 1800's the mill was originally a 10-Stamp steam powered mill. The mill was expanded to 30-Stamps and utilized 2 steam powered engines.

The mine is now flooded with a river of muddy water flowing out of it, at one time the tunnel was over 1300 ft. deep with over 1500 ft. of drifts.
