Mission (Impossible) Mine, California
Good morning, Mr. Phelps. The mine you are looking at has been abandoned for over 10 years. The caretaker (who has fled the camp) is one of our high-ranking intelligence officers, whom we recently discovered is a top enemy agent working for the Sierra Club.
Upon learning this, we feel that it is imperative that you get the diesel powered engines that supply the power for the Mine Elevator, Air Compressor, and 110/220VAC power running before the Sierra Club can destroy this historical mining site.
Your mission, Jim, should you decide to accept it, is to start up as many of the engines at this mining camp as possible. As always, should you or any of your IM (Desert Dog) Force be caught or killed, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This tape will self-destruct in five seconds. Good luck, Jim.
The mining camp, lets check it out and find those diesel engines.
Mine Shaft Elevator is still here and appears functional.
Wench control station and huge 500VDC electric motor to drive it up and down.
Electric panel to the left and the mine intercom radio (in the center) you will use comunicate with the team on the lower levels.
Wench controls, fuctional and awaiting power.
Cable looks good, we will need it to send Doug down the mine shaft (and bring him back up).
Mill site is intact, conveyer belts will be running before the day ends.
We are going to be needing a lot of power to get this site up and running.
