Located at over 10,000 feet in the high Sierra's, this site offers a beautiful view of Nevada. Star City & Belfort date back to the 1880's as part of the Patterson Mining District. Nothing at all is left at Star City except a nice meadow and some tailings. The main mines of the area were the Thorobrace and the Monte Cristo. We lost a roll of film here, so we don't have many pictures to share. This is a really neat remote area to explore and we will be back!
